Now we’re getting into some red wine! For Zinoephiles, this wine has no match.

Originally, this grape was mainly used to make spaghetti red. The vines were planted in California during the 1850′s, and to our good fortune, some of those “Old Vines” were spared even while the popularity of other varietals showed more promise commercially. Today, some of California’s newest and most successful wineries are doing amazing things with those “Old Vines”. We were so excited by the wines of Robert Biale that we helped make them available in Colorado and New Mexico. We hope you’ll appreciate our efforts… and to those visionaries who resisted tearing up the old vine Zins… we thank you!
